Minister Ordination: Become a Minister or Join Our Church Fellowship

If for whatever reason you have not been able to fulfill your calling to minister ordination or licensing in another denomination, or if you are simply seeking a loving, forgiving, accepting, and merciful fellowship, then our church community may be just what you've been searching for. We invite you to join us -- the Celtic Anabaptist Communion -- on the pilgrimage, on the journey.

Our Church Communion is neither Roman Catholic nor Protestant; rather, we wholeheartedly embrace and affirm Celtic and Anabaptist (Baptist, Quaker, Mennonite, Brethren, etc.) thought and practice, thus our name: the Celtic Anabaptist Communion. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds, including Catholic, Protestant, Anglican, and Charismatic, and they hold a variety of beliefs. All, however, are attracted to and desire to follow the Celtic and Anabaptist way. We seek to reach the isolated, the rejected, the lonely, and those who have been wounded by the institutional church. The CAC is a Communion which does not "shoot the wounded;" rather, we offer all of these a haven and a home.

My name is Michael Wrenn; I am the founder and presiding archbishop of this church. I was ordained as a pastor/priest and also consecrated as a bishop by Archbishop Rodney P. Rickard of the Reformed Catholic Church of America, through whom I was also appointed archbishop; our two jurisdictions are in full communion.

My ministry has included music, singing, writing, counselling, teaching, preaching, and chaplaincy. I am a songwriter-member of Broadcast Music, Incorporated (BMI).

Just as Archbishop Rodney Rickard helped me to fulfill my calling to Christian minister ordination and also to find a church home, I now want to help do the same for you. So, if you are seeking minister ordination or licensing, or if you would like to unite with this church fellowship, I invite you to review this page, read the following pages about our Communion, and then apply for minister's credentials by answering some questions, or send in the application for membership.

DISCLAIMER: The Celtic Anabaptist Communion DOES NOT assume LEGAL responsibility for its clergy. Neither The Celtic Anabaptist Communion nor the individual clergy is an agent for or of the other. However, each member of the clergy IS answerable to The Celtic Anabaptist Communion and does come under the Archepiscopal oversight of the Presiding Bishop. If an investigation finds serious violations of Christian ethics, morals, and values have indeed been committed, certain church sanctions can be applied up to and including removal of faculties and excardination.
