Bishop Godspower E. Adaka


Bishop Adaka was born on 10th November 1956 at
Akugbene Town in Bomadi Local Government Area
of Delta State of Nigeria to a pagan family. He is an
Ijaw by tribe (a riverine tribal group in Nigeria).
He is married to Rev. (Mrs.) Jane-Rose M. Adaka,
blessed with 3 children. He gave his life to Christ in
1982. He attended ALL NATIONS FOR CHRIST BIBLE
INSTITUTE, BENIN CITY (Founded by Archbishop
Benson A. Idahosa), from 1994 to 1998 and obtained
Diploma in Biblical Studies and Associate of Arts Degree
from I.C.I. Co-ordinated by A.N.F.C.B.I. He was called to
found the Ministry on 22nd October 1995 and received
an Honorary Doctorate award from Grace Christian University, Texas U.S. on 22nd March 2002.

Bishop Adaka is the General Superintendent of COVENANT OF GRACE BIBLE CHURCH INT INC. (A young growing church). He was licensed as a gospel preacher by Bishop Gilbert Coleman Jr. of Freedom Christian Bible Fellowship, Philadelphia on 14th June,1997 and was ordained by Professor Benson A. Idahosa the Arch-Bishop and Founder of Church of God Mission International. He is a member of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. He was consecrated Bishop of his Church on 18th November 2006, by the delegated Bishop(Bishop Herman Bouwer of South Africa) of United Christian Faith Ministries,U.S.A. Before he went into Full-time Ministry, he served in the Nigeria Police Force and withdrew his services in September, 1981. He was a freelance Salesman, Commission agent and a Contractor. His Church has planted churches / mini churches in Riverine / Rural communities in some parts of Nigeria.
HIS VISION is to carry the gospel to the riverine areas where the gospel is scarcely received due to their peculiar locations. And to establish a Bible College to raise indigenous Pastors, Evangelists and Missionaries, to establish Christian Reading Centres, etc.
